So what is the action like in the poker rooms for March Madness? This is the first time in three years that I'm not there so I am seriously missing it and know it's probably real good.
Any early reports? |

Nobody?
Nothing?? I guess all the locals and pros are out playing right now. Please report when you return. |

I haven't noticed anything different from any other time, but I've only played at the Wynn. There definitely was a lack of drunkenness in the room.

Yes, the rooms are packed. Every table full at Wynn and Caesars. Never seen that before. Part of the reason at Caesars is the back room is converted into VIP NCAA viewing, but I still have never seen it as busy. Level of play is not any different though. It's almost like all the players came in just for poker, because they are almost always sober and hardly talk hoops.

I noticed that, too. Inside the poker rooms, it's like nothing else is going on in the world. The only exception is when the sportsbook is close and Duke is being knocked off by VCU. Then they looked up for a moment, then went right back to the poker.
Not sure exactly what this means, honestly. I'd like to see it debated. |
