Default Thought Sequence Book

Just wondering if anyone knows any resource which basically gives you a sequence of what to think about as you play each hand. Sometimes I find myself rushing and possibly not thinking about what someones hand ranges might include. I think that this is one of my biggest problems right now.

Thanks (:

Pick up Roy Cooke's Real Poker II: The Play of Hands. Its got exactly what you're looking for.

gordon's LBB has its shortcomings which have been mentioned here (mostly that it has you hitting alot of big hands and not too many tougher decisions).

but he does go thru his thinking process alot, and the pre-flop is very useful... one i remember for sure is wanting to end hands quickly if out of position. and i remember thinking that if i bot this book (which i did), i would just take notes and get the recurring themes like that..... haven't taken the notes yet, but he does go back to probably 5-10 key principles over and over again.

EDIT: i wish roy cooke's book was no-limit... maybe his next book will be.

He also refers all hands to the principles in the green book in a special index, which is really nice, but I haven't checked to see if it works as well in practice as in principle.

Cheers,

Roy Cook has been dabbling in N/L but I doubt he`d be authoring anything soon.
Also HOH111 is excellent for the thought processing

The above recommendation is solid. Phil Gordon's Blue and Green books also give a good look at his thought process while playing out hands.

This will be a primary selling point of the book that Zee and I are finishing now. We walk you through the thought process all the way through some complex hands.
