Default No Chris Simon thread?

This one looked 10x worse than the McSorley incident, and 100x worse than Bertuzzi.

But because the victim escaped with minor injuries, this one isn't thread-worthy?

Wow, that's a cheap shot. Will Simon play again this season?

It looked obvious as to what he was trying to do. I think he's done for the year.

FYI, skip to the end of the clip unless you want to watch 2 minutes of a guy laying on the ice.

The fact that Simon is a goon won't help his case, that's for sure. However, most people are predicting he'll get 15 games. Had he severely injured the guy, he'd have gotten the same suspension as McSorley and Bertuzzi.

I put the O/U at 10 games last night - I'll say 12 today - the NHL will screw it up because Hollweg didn't get hurt.

The RSL, or Results-Oriented League, always hands out suspensions based on injury or perceived injury. That's why Cam Janssen got three games for a slightly late hit on Tomas Kaberle, whereas that hit occurs about once a game around the rest of the NHL and there's no suspension for it.

For me, that has to be a season long suspension.

I've never seen you comment in a hockey thread.

It's amazing how these incidents bring people out who've no idea what the sport is about to comment on how long a suspension should be.

also, lol at Orr 'destroying' Simon. Simon can handle himself.
