For risk/reward reasons, and because you're not in a position to need to make a move, I really don't like this without a read. Why the pf limp?

[/ QUOTE ] I don't see what's wrong with limping on the button with Q9s. It seems like hero and villain have gotten into a bluffing war. If either of them had a jack, they would slowplay it, so they must both be bluffing. |

I don't know how many people will bluff raise you here with nothing. As a default, I'd say not too many. However, timing tells, and table conditions obviously change that. I have done things like this before and my results are mixed.
I assume the pf limp is very table dependant, and dependant on players in the blinds. |

Roman,
To me it looks fine, the only gripe I'd have is that if this was me versus you, I'd think if you had a real hand you'd probably just call my flop CR. -Jason |

[/ QUOTE ] I was thinking this as well, but the problem is that this is a total bluff, and we are putting our opponent on a total bluff as well most likely. I mean, he's folding ace high, and probably a 3, but he's never folding a jack. |
