I went out with a 5 foot 3 girl this weekend, and her hands are the same size as mine. I'm five foot ten, and I have never met a male with hands smaller than mine. Am I pretty much screwed as far as punching hard, or could this possibly work to my advantage somehow?

On the bright side, the punch will be concentrated in a smaller area. But it may be easier to break a knuckle. Make sure you aim for the chin!
PS. I'm 6'1" and have huge hands. |

Your hands are just along for the ride. The biggest concern, as someone else mentioned, is breaking your hand. One of the best ways to prevent that is to do a lot of grip and wrist exercises. I highly reccomend the Captain of Crush grippers from www.ironmind.com |

For reference, what's the distance between the crease where your wrist starts and the tip of your middle finger? I'm a little over 6'1" and I just measured mine at exactly 8".
