CO raise + button + AA = raise pre-flop.
(You want to play big pots with big hands and position.) The flop is draw heavy. I raise here 100% of the time. As played: check behind on turn. No idea what happened on river, but I assume you got your ass handed to you. As played, I check fold the river. |

Raise the flop - get money in there and inflate the pot. People will call you // raise you with aces // flush draws in that spot. You now will only beat a bluff on the river.

The SB went all in on the turn anyways for less than 200 extra chips than what he bet with.
As is, what was said was true, but I think that no matter what, you aren't going to fold a set of aces. The river really made no difference in the hand to you, but either way, you apparantely let the short stack push with any diamond and I'm sure he won with a flush. Assuming that he had a decent hand, with that flop you probably aren't going to remove anyone with a diamond off of the hand and obviously after the turn anyone with a high diamond will probably stay around for the ride.. |

Preflop, CO raised to 4xBB, so he probably doesn't want to fold. Reraise to 300. He won't put you on aces.
Raise the flop because of the draws. As played, push the turn. |

You should have charged him to get there I would raise the pot on the river then if he wants to chase dreams he is welcome to it. Your hand is strong but far from a lock and you should have protected it.

I would raise preflop and the flop. Even though it looks like you have the nuts, this is an action flop.
Your play is not as bad as it looks from the results though. You were 72% against villain on the flop and 68% on the turn. |

I think the blinds are too small to induce a shortstack push...speed up hero

Don't get too cute early in a tourne when the blinds are small.
