I rarely post. But I learn a lot from you guys. According to recent account hijack case in high stake, I would like to share follow info to you guys. Mod can feel free move this post to proper place.
Viking.bo virus will affect your windows exe files. This virus will automatically run back_end programs to download the Tronjan and retrieve your online User Name, Password to send to Hijackers. If you check your computer system folder (i. e. window 2000 winnt) or task manager, you will find : logo1_.exe, sy.exe, 1sy.exe -> 8sy.exe, 9sy.exe, rundl132.exe, rundll32.exe, iexplore.exe, qqs3.exe, rxs3.exe etc. You got shot! Simple solution without running anti-virus software: Del those files from task manager or system folder. But some damn files like logo1_.exe can not be deleted. So, download unlocker file to delete it. Restart your computer. Create a logo1_exe.bat batch file with following info: @echo off del “%windir%logo1_.exe” /q (copy above command with replacing logo1_.exe with another virus file name) ….. md “%windir%logo1_.exe” (copy above command with replacing logo1_.exe with another virus file name) echo. & pause del c:_desktop.ini /f/s/q/a Good luck for you all |

It's not joke. This kind of virus was used to hijack online hot games key info (i.e Warcraft, ...)
But recently, they found it will be more profitable to work on high stake poker account. They got you guys account info. They just design how to get your money safely. |

I haven't been following this much.
How do they get the account passwords in the first place? Once they have it, how do they successfully transfer it somewhere and cash it out quickly enough that the transaction isnt cancelled? Both seem at first glance very difficult to do. |
