Both villains seem okay, but I am taking a shot up here so don't know any too well.
I think a turn lead may have been my best play. I felt fine calling preflop but you guys can berate me if you wish... Preflop really is bad. You're out of position, and all you're really hoping for is to flop a FD. Playing FDs OOP is hard and usually not super-profitable. Don't feel like you have to call just cause you have a buck already in there. It's a pretty significant leak.
Postflop is perfect. |

This is bad for so many reasons. Since that alone is not constructive...
You called a raise OOP with Q7s. You get one of the best flops you could ask for and you don't raise. You get the next best possible turn and you aren't leading. Bad bad bad |

Ok.....thank you for the pf reminder.
Flop I felt okay c/cing, but I definitely think a turn lead was my best play. Here is another hand for you guys...please give me some comments.....again do you think a turn raise is appropriate? not to be mean or anything, you have some big leaks and might want to move back down.
Hand #1 PF is baaaaad, but since you think you know better Flop is ok, still very fishy, its hard for me to give good advice because I'd never put myself in this situation to begin with. Turn is actually terrible, do you realize that you have a straight and flush draw? Hand #2 I RR pf if I'm going to play, it gives us the initiative and the minraise from UTG screams weakness to me Flop - raise here, you have a monster draw and lots of FE. Turn - meh, you hand is pretty much faceup, its going to be hard to get paid off no matter what you do River - probably bet a little less to keep the fish on the hook |

I don't really CC Axs much, so hand 2 I tend to fold preflop. As played flop is an easy raise with that draw.

Hand 1 - Fold preflop. Otherwise, raise turn. As played, can you actually call the turn bet? You've got 13 outs, so you're a 2.5 to 1 dog. Provided you think villain will call at least $24 if you hit, calling here is actually slightly +ev.
Hand 2 - Raise flop. Overall you seem to love the suited cards a little too much. Addmittedly they won't give you gonorrhea, but they're still bad for your health. You're only going to complete your flush by the river 6.5% of the time!!! Even worse when you're drawing to 2nd or 3rd best flush. If you're not going to play Q7o for a raise oop, why would you play something marginally better? |

ikestoys,
don't worry, i appreciate the comments. I think I totally agree with what you said about hand 1. Hand 2 I don't really like to rr pf because I have position on the guy and don't mind seeing a flop with a decent hand. I tend to like to play lots of smaller pots though. (as opposed to only pots where i am the pfr and there is 8-11 bb in the pot on the flop....) |
