2+2 Heresy - YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BUY IN SHORT
...then play the BB and SB before topping off for your button.
This will negate your positional disadvantage for 2 hands. What do you think? Edit: Negate is the wrong word...reduce is better |

Re: 2+2 Heresy - YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BUY IN SHORT
Disagree here. I get a 77 while on BB and button raises me I want to be able to play for set value. How mad you going to be when you are dealt AA on BB? There are so many advantages to playing with a full stack that its just not worth the few pennies.

Ok...thought I'd revive this thread because almost the exact idea just appeared in HSNL. Similar HSNL thread

Re: 2+2 Heresy - YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BUY IN SHORT
Jouster,
I would say that the edge a decent player has against all opponents on the table at the micro stakes more than negates the disadvantage of playing out of position. By this, I mean that I would happily play a large amount of hands OOP against most opponents I come across at 25nl/50nl, and would rather do so with a full stack seeing as I am likely to get paid by a ton of worse hands postflop. |
