Moving to Vegas where do I play?
Hello 2+2ers
I am going to move out to Vegas this summer and I am looking for some advice about where are the best (softest) NLHE games. I have been playing at the MGM Grand on and off (week here and there) for a couple of years. But I want some advice from you Vegas pros on where a guy should get started? |

Re: Moving to Vegas where do I play?
NL stakes in Vegas are not based on buy in amounts (that is an internet thing). It is based on the blinds. 1/2 usually has a 200-300 max. 2/5 is usually $500-1K max, and 5/10 is usually uncapped. At the Wynn, all NL games are uncapped.
Spend a lot of time at www.allvegaspoker.com and all of your questions will be answered. |

Re: Moving to Vegas where do I play?
It's a pretty simple question. If you're looking to play 5/10 NL, you've got three options: Venetian, Wynn, and Bellagio. The Venetian's got the softest games, but they run the least frequently. Wynn's got a real solid 5/10 game that runs every night, but the players are slightly better. Bellagio's 5/10 game is kind of gay because they cap it at $1000, but if you're used to playing relatively short stacks from the internet, that might be better for you. I've only actually played it once, but when I did, it certainly seemed beatable.
If you're looking to play 10/20, then you pretty much just want to play at the Bellagio. Wynn gets 10/20 going on the weekends sometimes, but Bellagio's got the only game in town that consistently runs that high. |
