Utilizing facebook and myspace to hit the college market
Hi there,
Im a few month Im going to be launching a college related site. Its just me and my developer working/promoting the site so budget is somewhat limited. Really looking to do it the cheap way via networking. How do bands/models and such message large numbers or people on myspace? Are these programs easily attainable/written. As far as I can tell facebook no longer has a mass message option...back in the day they did but I guess it created to much spam. Is there a similar program for facebook? Im going to assume not mainly because I havent gotten any spam messages in a long time. Are there other low cost advertising avenues that I should be pursuing? Im going to be going the flyer route with schools that I can drive to...but thats only a small small percentage of them. Any thoughts on the process/from anyone whos done anything similar would be appriciated. Thanks, Evan |

Re: Utilizing facebook and myspace to hit the college market
there are friend adder softwares for myspace that do it pretty quickly. Then you'll have direct contact w/ a ton of myspace people to market to as you please.

At that rate I ruled it out due to lack of exposure to price. However at 5 per 10000 this is def something worth doing. Thanks! |

That rate is only for at your own school its 5 per 2500 for all other schools. |
