I'd raise or fold the 3 out draw on the flop, you need to get paid off a lot when you hit to justify calling a pot sized bet with 3 clean outs, if you intend to float the call can be justified somewhat, which you did which was fine. The river bet is ok, I'd be worried he had a jack because he called on the turn but your not going to win by checking and there is no chance your hand is good.
Its not really a spot I'd call with A high, but it is not really any different from TT in this spot, the chances you split are slim cos you would re-raise preflop most of the time and the chances you are betting with a pair less than J is also slim as it has at least some showdown equity. |

What hand are you trying to represent? Wouldn't you raise on the flop if you had anything at that point?

usually fold pf. raise the flop if you're continuing. on the turn, if you're going to bet then pot it. it'll look like you're protecting your jack. this is the limit hold em forum by the way.
