What is standard with AK here?
FTP $10/270. 12 players left. I am top 3 in chips.
The table had been aggressive with very few hands going to showdown and so I decided to limp from UTG with AK and reraise anyone aggressive who raised. The villian who raised here was uber-aggressive with PT stats from this tourney of 40/28 (220 hands). He has also taken losses from me when I showed down with him with better hands. He also started laying down to me. How do you play AK from early position late in a tourney on FT bubble? What is standard? Once I limp and get raised, do you shove? Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t800/t1600 (Ante: t200) 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero calls t1600 (pot was t3600), UTG+1 raises to t8400, 4 folds, Hero? |

Re: What is standard with AK here?
I like a raise with it.
If you're gonna call/fold, why not just fold to begin with? |

Re: What is standard with AK here?
Stack sizes are important, but there's few scenarios that I'm not pushing, were I to limp like this.

Re: What is standard with AK here?
You gotta raise this pre. As far as his raise, shove over it since hes loose aggressive.

Re: What is standard with AK here?
BTW I meant call as played to the all in (assuming it was a shove). If not, shove.
