Check that turn, man. This villain's flop call is scary on such a dry board.
I would fold as played. -Andrew |

No need to bet so much on the flop and turn. I usually bet around 2/3 pot on both streets. Maybe a little less on the turn. As played, I would fold the turn. I don't mind the turn bet, just the size.

I make the crying call. This is AJh sooooo often, maybe 66, but I really think we are killing any kind of range that makes this move.

Checking the turn makes this so much easier. The flop call is scary as mentioned above and the turn card doesn't change anything, just puts you in a tough spot. 14/12 suggests that he would lay down A-Js oop pre flop or three bet it if he thought you were blind stealing too much, and probably make the call with a small pair. Also, a post flop agression of 3 suggests he would raise the flop with tptk and only slow play his huge hands (set on dry board fits this category). So, as played I can find a fold. But, if you checked the turn you could fold to a psb on a dry river (no heart) because that would suggest villain wants to make up for his missed check raise on the turn and you could call a normal sized river bet that could be a jack or a set, but either way it would save you a ton of money and kept the pot fairly small with only one pair.
