Default 200/400 Durrr vs PA

Why did PA(Dampest Hawk) bet river here? I don't understand this hand he can win showdown but gets called by any A. This didn't make sense to me what do you guys think? Is a naked Ace supposed to check fold river here?

It was a spew.

The turn wasn't a bad place to bluff, but once duff calls it's hard to see him folding an ace on the river. If dampest thought he had the best hand on the river then he's a moron.

i always thought dampest was lodden. had a feeling when i played him at UB before. could be wrong, just what i always thought based on how he played. i didn't read that link above so this could be way off base.

i watched this hand. i feel like ppl rarely would check this flop with an A in middle position (edit--assuming they're the pf raiser). sorta a confusing hand--to me he was repping quads, A2, 222, or JJJ (but i feel like he'd bet the flop with JJ). dunno, but that's what went through my head when i watched the hand (obv from durrrr's perspective he can't have quads...so it's either A2, 222, JJJ, or a bluff).

he's def trying to get him off a mid-weak ace....not sure if I like it tho, especially given dampest's crazy image

Looks like he's trying to get him off the exact type of hand he has. I dont like his turn line with his river line, though. If he really had, say, AK and got check/raised on the turn, seems like he'd probably call the turn instead of re-raising. I think this might have been more effecgive if he had called the turn and then raised the river. But of course it's just a question of levels. I mean, maybe he would re-raise AK because durr would think he'd call, so... whatever. You really can't get too much just from looking at one nosebleed hand. It's all about recent history, etc.
