Villain in this hand is TAG, or at least so say the stats. Hasn't been too out of line, seems ok. Two questions in this hand, 1) should I 4-bet this preflop? and 2) is donking the flop the best play here? I really don't like c/c here, check raise is spew, and c/f seems weak.

I like 3betting it a bit more pf and betting 4$ on the flop (the you played it) or 5 (the way I would play it with a pot approx: 7$).

I like 4betting it then and fold to a push.

I like the preflop call, but just c/f this. If he bluffs you out, oh well, you lost not even 1/5 of a buyin. |

Is this not a profitable situation against a TAG? Even if he has KK or QQ, there's generally no way he raises that flop, and he might even fold. Obviously, if he calls or raises, I'm done with this hand unless I spike a J on the turn. |
