Default commerce 2/4 hand

This was the only even semi-interesting hand I played in this game. I haven't been playing 'high' lately very much an haven't found hands very interesting.

Game has been going for maybe an hour and I'm up half a rack or so. The game is reasonable and playing pretty straightforward.

I open in the co, folded to the sb who is kind of a weak tight who calls (edit i just got informed his name is kms). BB is VAN who calls. We played a lot during the series and played a bunch of 3 handed and he respects my game/thinks i'm at least semi-tough. He's a very good player in my oppinion..

*edit* - lol i forgot to say what i had. I didn't mean to leave it out. I had KT.

Flop

sb bets, bb calls, I call.

Turn T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

sb bets, bb raises, I 3 bet, sb folds, bb calls.

bb checks, I check. eh?

I think you should've bet. But I reserve the right to change my mind once I learn what you had.

AT and KT are definite bets. I'd bet QT too but that's closer.

It sort of depends on where your hand falls between the JT-AT/JJ-AA range. JT-KT I don't think checking is awful. AT+ I think you need to bet.

how can this ever be a value bet, bb range here if he is solid has you smoked with that river alot, and he aint going to pay off with 95 or A6 or anything like that.

If you are betting i am seeing it as a bluff at the pot, not a value bet.

this is an interesting spot, i think betting has a little more equity than checking does, it is somewhat close tho so not a poor play.
