When trying to decide on the river call I figured he had to have either queen 10 (I'm beat) or any other variety of 2 pair or sets. Do I have to call here or is it possible to lay this down?

Please dont chase the lower str8 with better str8s out there... -ev in the long run....
I never chase a str8 with gapped connectors on my hi side. Just my 2 cents. And a bad flush is just that a bad flush... You will always be busto if someone has bigger flush, be careful.... Your 13 outs aren't a true 13 outs... I believe 15% of the time someone will have better flush, and on this type of board about 30% of the time somone will have better str8... So I would guesstimate for PO's you are closer to 8 true outs... I don't even call turn bet here.. |

What kind of player is small blind calling a good sized raise to? Is he someone calls with anything. The problem with giving analysis on this hand is we don't have enough information. I don't think he has T7 here, and if he does I'm sure to get my money back later. So that leaves Q10 as the only hand that beats you. I would almost bet that SB hit a set slow played flop going for the check raise and whiffed. There are far more hands that you beat than beat you. I call unless I have a very strong read on SB, and even then...

If you call the turn bet in order to draw to your straight, how could you ever fold when you get thereon the river? At NL10 just call without further thinking.

technically he is repping a better hand and you should fold but this is 10nl and villain most likely has downs syndrome so you should call.
