I seriously, seriously doubt this. Is there a $34.95 ticketmaster convenience charge for the "free" tickets?

Well since thier not getting paid then I wouldn't assume to many big bands. Best year ever was seeing Iron Maiden. They [censored] kicked ass. But seriously last year was out of hand, they wanted $90. [censored] that.

"Black Rain" is an excellent CD btw. I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been a thread about it. Then again, the only thing most people here know is "Crazy Train".
Reviews have been tepid, which is a shame. The real jopke is that many of these reviewers don't seem to know much other than "Crazy Train" either. Everyone appears more interested in being 'edgy', saying Ozzy is washed up, rather than admitting that a guy pushing 60 can still write catchy, yet heavier than ever, stuff. "Not Going Away" and "Civilize the Universe" are a couple of the best cuts he has ever done with Zakk Wylde. In fact, there are only 4 tracks (out of the 10 featured on the disc) that don't do anything for me. (The single "I Don't Wanna Stop" being by far the cheeziest). Ozzy's voice sounds great. Zakk still has some fresh shredding moves, while showing tasteful restraint on the ballads. Mike Bordin's drumming is much, much better than the late Randy Castillo's. And Blasko's bass is more than thumpy enough to please obnoxious tools that like rattling their neighbors's windows at 4 am. |
