Default More fun on Crypto

No reads on villain who is new to the table. Once again, the default player in the £12k early is loose bad and I recognise most of the regulars.

Ugh, this is one of those odd tripple points of poker where you might call, raise, or fold and not like any of the above.

Against a bad player, I don't semi-bluff here. Implied odds are difficult to get if a heart comes off on the river and you still will be unsure of where your at. I think the call is very read dependant.

With only 300 invested, I may just fold here and wait for a better spot.

there is no shame to check/fold hands from time to time..

This looks like a q, and any loose/bad players is folding it way too seldom to make it wothwhile to try and push him off it.

ps. i hate q high flop with a coldcaller in position... the usual hands that coldcall u are pps and kq aq. And when they give u action, well qx seem quite probable.

If you were considering anything other than check/folding on the turn wouldn't betting the turn yourself make things easier? Just asking, its a tough spot.

Betting the turn seems like a really bad idea.

The only thing that calls this flop raise that we are ahead of is the Ah or Kh . A made flush or a scared Q will also play this the same. Monotones can be so difficult to play.

I don't play on Crypto so I don't know the players at all. IMO You really have to know your villian in order to call this turn.

That's kinda what I meant. I think the best move is to fold. But's it's an awkward one.

Are you suggesting raising here?

I really didn't know. My mate was sweating me and suggested a push. Which, if your range is correct, doesn't seem like that bad an idea. I would also add a float to your range and that's unlikely to fire again.
