About 130 out of 550 players left. Average stack was about 125K in tournament chips. 200 ante. 1K and 2K blinds. My stack is 40K. All fold to a fairly aggressive button who makes it 7K. I'm in the small blind with 22. What's your play?

Call, hope BB folds, then push it in on the flop, unless you flop a set?

Standard push for me, you move from 39k to roughly 51k whenever he folds. I take it your image isn't that of the LAG resteal frenzy player either?
So fold EV 39k Push he folds EV 51k Push he calls we lose EV 0k Push he calls we win EV 84k I don't have Pokerstove installed on this computer, but I'd be surprised if this wasn't good for us with deuces. If he'd call EVERY time we'd need about 46.43% equity, whatever that means. If he calls 75% of the time we need an equity of 41.67% or so. I can't imagine this not being true. Even if you adjust up a bit for cEV <=> $EV fallacies |

Figure that a guy from L.A can't lay a hand down. Hi Gabe, I looked for you at Hollywood Park last night. I will be at Commerce next few days. If you are there have me paged.

Fold that crap.
Why pay 5800 units for a pair of deuces against an agressive button and the big blind yet to act behind you? |

his stack size and a better definition of "a fairly aggressive button" would help a lot

I fold. But if you play them you have to push pre.
