Default Women Are Not Oppressed.

Just put this one
together. It's better proofed so most of my stuff as its for something bigger. Its quite unPC so I know that angle isn't warmly appreciated but if it makes any college students think slightly differently or reflect for a moment I'll be happy. I'll respond to anything after work (if need be).

your writing is awful. any semblance of credibility you might have gained by piggybacking off the writing of other men is destroyed by your inability to write more than a paragraph without making wild generalizations and ridiculous insults.

Footnoting is expected and appropriate. I'm an above average writer though--at least. You don't have to think so though that's okay. My self regard has been earned which makes me rather unusual nowadays, lol. The arguments I made were quite accurate and grounded.

you're not too bad at using lots of thesaurus words and trying to sound smart, it's your ability to reason or produce coherent thoughts that is lacking

do you ever respond to any criticism by doing something other than

1. citing some other source
2. stating how good of a writer you are or how good your argument was
3. attacking women

???

You do know that you actually suck at writing, right?

I've read this sentence no less than twenty times and I still can't make sense of it:

"Pundits who set up straw men, pretend that their opposition does not exist, and/or shout down their peers, do not so much as win arguments so they do in promote mass confusion."

Just want to make sure I'm not getting leveled here. Honestly, your writing is barely comprehensible.

My first post in this thread was obviously sarcasm, but since it seems like you sincerely believe that you write well, I must admit that I'm shocked. So, I'm forced to abandon my sarcastic tone and give my honest opinion:

It's absolutely bewildering to me that you not only publish your work, but that someone pays you to do so. Frankly, I still don't quite believe that. In addition, a few posters in this thread said "great article", which apparently means some people find you compelling!

I frankly still can't believe it.

PS - I promise to buy your book if you promise to start using the quote function.

I'm a college student and I agree for the most part.

Some women will complain about anything. If they want to feel like victims then go for it. Only thing that rubs me the wrong way about it is that it steals attention from groups that actually are discriminated against (i.e. blacks and latinos).

For the record... college students don't typically have the real world experience to comment on how it is for women int he real world.

"I'm in college, but here's the problems with corporate workplaces....." No credibility.
