finding pictures on the web

is there some way you can search the internet for pictures - meaning, you have a picture and you want to see if it is posted on any websites? obv if the filename hasnt been changed, that might work, but what if you dont have a file name.

i have no idea how this would work, but it seems to me ive heard of it being done before - something like a search engine for pictures where you submit the picture and it returns results of where on the web that picture is posted.

OP, Would you like to share with us why you'd be interested in finding if some of your pictures are posted somewhere you don't know about?

ah..nm, im retarded. I doubt if such a thing exists, the best you can do is look at the properities of the existing picture and do some creative googling.
