Villain is 46/10/1.22. He's pretty weak player. Notes saying he's going too far with draws without odds and is passive.

his c/c on the flop makes me wonder a bit. What hands could villian be calling with on this flop? His call clearly says he has a piece of it, it is just a matter of FE if we do semibluff push.
I am not sure how much we really have here, that card improved our hand but it also could have made him as well. I think checking behind here is a better play just because of the strength of our draw. Thoughts? |

I lose so much semi bluffing these turns. I now always try to check behind. Maybe I just pick bad spots to semi bluff.

I'm not that afraid of the straights here. Only 99 makes sense here with straight.

i think free card is good, there are few hands which a bet might fold out yet, maybe even JJ or QQ...but there are so many bets which can get reraised here...plus, he ignores odds, so he might just call u anyway...

plus, he ignores odds, so he might just call u anyway... [/ QUOTE ] That's good though - if he fails to improve, our AK high wins. I pretty much always take the free card if he has enough to reraise me and push me off the hand, but against someone who likely calls too much (if he calls too much with draws, he probably calls too much with top pair, or second pair or something), I'd rather take the free card even here. |

i hate betting here. he either has a a set, a straight, or an overpair, and hes not folding any of those. take the free card here every time

My mistake in this hand was, that I didn't use my reads. I put him on hand like AT, JJ-QQ and thought that I could push him off those, because he surely puts me on AA since this is the first time I'm 3betting and I showed strength all the way.
Villain called me with AsTs , lesson learned. |
