Grad School Scholarships
I was a terrible undergrad student (standard smart kid, doesn't apply himself). I've been not working for a year and I think I'd really like to go back to school, learn a little more, and take a fresh start on things.
Are schollies for grad school common? What are they typically based on? My background: -2.5 gpa at University of Kansas, Business Admin -Will score 99th percentile on whatever standardized test is required -I think I'd like to go into finance though I'm considering tons of different fields So if anyone has experience/input about scholarships or other thoughts on grad school I'd love to hear them. |

Re: Grad School Scholarships
Scholarships are usually based on GPA, and typically have a minimum GPA requirement above a 2.5

Re: Grad School Scholarships
If you are applying to PhD programs, most will pay for your entire tuition plus a stipend through grants, research fellowships, and teaching. But most of these programs require at least a 3.0 GPA, and I don't think that is what you are looking for anyway. It is more difficult to get funding for Master's programs, but a lot of employers will fund you as a part-time student if you are doing something related to your job. |
