http://www.bigchippoker.com/3/index5.htm

Is this a new development? I played there yesterday.

(x-posted to the internet gambling forum.)

Absolute and BigChip are hardly related. They are run from different countries as well. I have a hard time believing that AP, probably the most promising site to stick around, is bailing with BigChip. Wouldn't make any logical sense. Then again, what about all this ruckus makes logical sense? Who knows...

I called Absolute support (only number I could find) and spoke to a supervisor. She couldn't confirm one way or the other about Big Chip and U.S. Play, but she said it was business as usual for Absolute.

I also find it very strange that Big Chip would offer a reload bonus for US players, then pull the plug the next day. What gives?

I typed in http://www.bigchippoker in my browser. This is the correct site, yes? It did redirect me through another page, which was strange. (Just want to confirm this isn't some phishing site or anything.)

I'm in the same boat as you. Seems very odd.

Yes, Big Chip is going down, players will be pushed to AP but will probably lose the site sponsored rakeback.

More players at AP?! SWEET! (*My apologies if I'm cheering at any of your downfalls). I am so used to seeing zip for tables going.
