This guy plays every hand and can be aggressive.

I think this is a good fold. On the flop he could be check-raising with a Q, A8, a four-flush, a PP, or a monster. I don't think he's check-raising you again with a hand you beat (1/5.5 times to justify a call-down) once that second Q falls. If he did... then NH by him.

[/ QUOTE ] Equals [/ QUOTE ] I understood it as loose PF and occasionally aggressive post-flop... either way I'm interested in why this is B/C (what is villain CRing x2 with if he's usually passive) or a defensive check (we don't want to give him a free card with his potential draws) rather than B/F. |

A great spot to induce a bluff. I think you should check behind and call one on the river. Bet if you are checked to on the river.

A very tricky one. But I'm calling the turn, check/calling the River.
The 2nd Queen falling is just too good a spot to bluff on. Especially as the Villain has been SO aggressive up until now. A raise here could be his last throw of the Dice. I entered a pot last night, I hit absolutely nothing on the Flop. But an Ace had fallen. I checked through, and the second Ace fell on the Turn. I bluffed at it, and sure enough, he folded. |

I think you played it fine up to the river. It certainly looks like he was representing AQs. I would expect him to cap the flop if he flopped a set. I would call the river though - getting 9.75:1 and your read on him being aggressive. If he would bluff this hand more than one in ten times you are still +EV 0.9*-1 + 0.1*9.75 = -0.9+0.975 = 0.075 (Not sure if this logic is correct though!) |

Problem is, that if you're calling him down, you'll likely have to call one on the river as well, cutting your odds from 9.75:1 to 11.75:2 or ~6:1...
