Default Has Poker Hurt your Social Life?

I'm realizing poker has messed up my social life. I still go out and do all the big fun things with friends, but whenever its something that sounds kinda boring I'll stay home and play poker instead. My friends are starting to talk and get annoyed that I don't want to hang out with them as much. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I wouldn't say ruin but changed. I mean you prefer to play poker than do something boring. That isn't ruining, its changing. For me i used to play guitar alot. Now i play poker.

I do this too. Usually when it sounds boring it IS boring. When I stay in to play poker I find out that my friends sat around chatting for 5 hours or something like that. That is fun and all, but I could be making bank or playing video games instead of dicking around.

yeah. this is about right for me too. something pretty damn cool has to be going on for me to go out. especially now that i work full time and have to wake up at 6:45 and then make a [censored] hour long drive to work.

I just meant that I enjoy playing video games and they don't get boring after a few hours like just hanging out does.
