Did Stars Change the Value of Items in the VIP Store?
I was just looking though the VIP store and noticed the 32in Samsung LCD TV costs 75K points. Last time I checked I thought it cost 90K. Also I thought the concierge (sp?) service cost 180K before and it now costs 186K. Anyone else notice these changes?

Re: Did Stars Change the Value of Items in the VIP Store?
I thought a couple of items looked like they had been changed a couple of days ago but wasn't positive about it. Scotty had said there was plans to update the store some this week, so I have been checking it every day.
There are still several items I am interested in that are way off in terms of FPP cost vs. what I can just buy it for. For example, the 24" Samsung monitor. Its currently 68,000 FPP's which equals out to almost $1100 worth of pts. I can buy that monitor myself for $850. |

Now at 186k points it's down to 1.61 cents/FPP. Still an okay deal. But not as wonderful as it was before. Too bad some of those monitors still aren't priced quite right compared with what you can get them for elsewhere. |

Re: Did Stars Change the Value of Items in the VIP Store?
StubHub I've never heard of.
Purchase tickets for sports, concert, theater, live entertainment. Sounds good to me. a nice addition. The problem is that the price completely sucks. It's just 1.538 cents/FPP. Might as well take the Supernova points-for-cash at 1.5 cents/FPP. Back to the concierge thing: I feel kind of stupid now. Because I have been saving up my FPP's because I can't decide if I want to do something conierge or just do points-for-cash or what. But I COULD have found something to get for concierge like a $3k gas-card if I had thought about it. But now I feel like I missed the better chance to do that because the price has apparently gone from 180k to 186k (at least I'm pretty sure it has). |

Re: Did Stars Change the Value of Items in the VIP Store?
I noticed a $1000 gift certificate to OneCall.com was added for US players as well for 62K. I think this is a good addition. For example, I could buy a 32in LCD TV for 62K points instead of having to buy the Samsung through stars for 75K points.

Re: Did Stars Change the Value of Items in the VIP Store?
I think it's always been 186k = $3000 Bob, certainly was when I got something last year - I expect they've just changed it to make the page more accurate.

[/ QUOTE ] Can someone confirm to me that I has always been 186000 = 3000? The accpeted value on this forum has always been 180000 = 3000. If stars as actually made the value of 1 fpp less it's a very easy way to piss the sn off. I sure know i annoys me. The freerolls are worth less and the fpp worth less. I'm not so sure about my push for SN That said I've always liked stars and hope this is just some misstake. |
