I have been trying to figure out what bread I should be buying at the grocery store. I want bread that lasts more than three days, tastes good, and is healthy.
So which brand should I be buying? Or, what brand do you buy? |

I want bread that lasts more than three days... [/ QUOTE ] I keep bread in the freezer, where it will last for weeks. When you want to eat it, you just leave the frozen slices on the counter, where it will thaw in ten minutes or so. If you can't wait, 10-15 seconds in the microwave will do the trick. |

Trader Joe's has some very healthy sprouted wheat protein bread that I dig. Hint for health nuts: stay away from any bread made of enriched flour, including "wheat" bread. This is basically wheat that has been processed heavily. Whole wheat/sprouted wheat is the way to go.
