How Slim an Overlay Will U Go Heads Up?
$200+$20 Local Tourney.Live. You play with these guys often.
27 players and down to the last 10, so Avg stack 54k. You have 37k and are in the BB. 1000/2000. No ante. 25 minute levels. 2k/4k;3k/6k;4k/5k then 5k/10k;10k/15k;15k/30k etc. Everyone folds to the SB who plays tight and is down to his last 3k after posting. Everyone folds to him, and he goes all in, giving you 2:1 on your money if you call. You have 65s, giving you 1.61:1 odds of winning (based upon 22+,A2+,KT+,QT+ range for opponent) which includes the .44% of the time you tie. Do you call? I did without hesitation and got some funny looks. |

Re: How Slim an Overlay Will U Go Heads Up?
At that stack size for SB, it is game-theoretically correct for him to push his top 90% and for you to call with your your top 90% -- which 65s definitely is.
Call is definitely, positively correct. |
