Any reads?

Without any reads, a fold here would probably be best for a couple reasons.

Most uNL players play very straightforward, and this could very well be the case here. Think of the hands that could make a raise like this, and there are not may you can beat, unless it is air. I think the opponent would at least need a queen to make this raise, or it's air.

Either way, I am not comfortable calling without stats or history.

Didn't really have stats or reads on the guy as I just sat down a few hands ago.

You need to be good like 60-65% of the time here for a call to be +EV. I doubt you are. You're beating like zippo in villains range.

I think its a fold, with the flop call and the smallish river bet, it looks like a trap to have you raise the river so he can get all of your stack in - kind of beyond 25NL but not out of the realm of possibility

his line doesn't make any sense for a bluff or semi bluff. I fold this figuring you don't beat enough trip hands.

I ended up folding, but river pushes like this put me on major tilt sometimes. I was thinking my turn check might have induced a bluff but his flop call made me suspicious.

Was the hand played well otherwise? Was the river raise okay or should I have just called the $2 bet? What if I had just posted up til "BB bets $2, Hero ?". Would you tell me to raise, call, or fold?

I'd fold this without reads.

That river raise though is good if you think he is just on bluff, but if you think he has a hand call would be better imo. You aren't going to get any better hands to fold and worst hands will fold.
