Re: 25NL - AQo in BB
I wouldn't c-bet here against 2 villains. As played, I think you must call river with these odds. If he's a fish, this'll be a bluff often enough.

Re: 25NL - AQo in BB
I like the raise pre-flop, but I would raise more - to $3 at least.
River is a must call since you can be wrong more than 19/20 times and still be making money, everything else is completely correct IMO. |

Re: 25NL - AQo in BB
As already said before: you have to call the river because of the odds youre getting on your call!!
If you win 1 in 24,6 times youll break even and thiss will always be the case |

Re: 25NL - AQo in BB
He probably has an underpair, and yeah, you call. Bluffing the river would be dumb.
The OOP preflop 3-bet with AQ is a matter of heated controversy at the moment. |

[/ QUOTE ] I've been experimenting w/ just calling PF in these situations. What I have found is that you rarely get put on as strong a hand when you do hit something like TPTK or top 2. Also, unless I feel CO is raising light (he's raised the last 3/4 hands) I will call because a reraise rarely takes down the pot PF (which is what I want) and we will be OOP in a fairly large pot when we hit only 30% of the time. Turns out it's mutltiway to boot... Plus I don't feel the need to c-bet missed flops. I just feel that I can win the most and risk the least, esp since I'm confident in my postflop play. |

You'll save money in the long run, not c-betting w/air in multiway pots.

Re: 25NL - AQo in BB
How about a very small raise here - he'll fold his low pocket pairs and pairs of 2's or 3's to it (as he is a huge fish) - like to $5 - anyone like that?

[/ QUOTE ] If you really wanted to push him out, I think you'd have to get into the $10 - $12 neighborhood, but after your turn check, I think he's pretty set on looking you up on this one. Bluff would likely just be spew at this point. Realistically, what are you repping at this point? If you had AK you would have bet the turn. |
