Default One Band For the Rest of Your life

If for some reason u were only allowed to listen to one musical artist/band for the rest of your life...who would you choose? No side projects, just the original artist/band and all of their stuff. Assume u would be able to get everything this artist ever put out, including bootleg live recordings.

My choice would be The Grateful Dead.

Anyone else have a pick?

ahahhaahaha everytime I try to leave...

Hm this is ridicuously hard, so having an enormous catalogue is pretty key.

Beatles
Elvis Costello (must be non-Attractions inclusive)
Miles Davis
Stevie Wonder

Kanye West if he had like 10 more albums.

I'm familiar with pretty much all of Zeppelin's stuff and some of their live stuff, so at first they were my answer. But if I could listen to more Van Morrison before I got to pick, I'm pretty sure I would have to go with him.

Van Morrison is one of the few artists that was played during my college days (early seventies) that I still play quite often. My favorite is Moondance, probably the "stickiest"* album (later the CD) I've ever owned. Check out the linked reviews. Tupelo Honey and Astral Weeks are also up there.

* By sticky I mean music that stays on your turntable, CD player or playlist for years and years and never seems dated or stale.

Funkadelic, but it's close.

Dylan if you had asked for a solo artist.

(also I predict that you will get mocked for your selection, although as you know I like the GD).
