Default 2/4 6max - Give this bet a sandwich ?

This is from memory. I have a laggy image 30/24 ish. Villian who has stats of around 25/13 over c50 hands isnt particularly good but isnt the worst of the donks either.

Hero opens J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in CO, BB defends. Eff stacks c500.

Flop: 10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot 34)

BB checks, Hero bets 27, BB minraises to 54 very quickly, Hero calls after a long pause.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot 148, 430 behind)

BB checks, Hero bets 110, BB thinks and calls.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (pot 368, 320 behind)

BB checks, Hero pushes

Why bet this turn if we're folding to a raise?

I don't get it. I think he has a missed draw more often than not. Are we trying to fold something or get AT to call?

a ten has to be way more likely than anything else here. i would expect we are like never behind.

River is way too thin for my taste. I wouldn't rule out the possibility he has a king. He may have been trying some retarded bluff on the flop, but then he hit his pair on the turn and decided he wants to play for pot control.

if you get paid by anything you beat, it's criminal.... I think checking behind or betting something super small is the better line to take. I guess I could see someone being ridiculously stubborn with A10, but otherwise, you're basically betting too much for anything you beat to call.

Note that for villian AT = 77 and all hands inbetween here.

I like flop and turn, but i check behind on the river 95% of the time.
Too thin, if you want to bet for value, don't push, cause you just made AT's decision much easier. All other hands that call you, will win the showdown.

to get max value from a ten and charge draws would be my guess. my default is check behind here but i don't hate op's line at all.
