Money stuck on Party

A friend of mine created an account on party a while back with a fake name and address (he was paranoid about legality even though I told him not to worry). I funded the account for him with transfers in exchange for cash.

Now he can neither play nor withdraw the remaining funds. Should he confess to Party and try to get the name and address changed so they can send a check? Or will they just seize the funds if he tries to do this?

can't you just withdraw using IGM pay? All you need is a bank account...it doesn't even need to match the name of the party poker account holder. But it does have to be a bank account that hasn't been used by any other player to withdraw funds.

Maybe ask your parents if you can use their bank accounts for this purpose.

Wow, a helpful answer! Thank you, I did not know that the name didn't have to match for an IGM-pay transfer. I don't know why this was such a stupid question. The guy was pretty much a break even or small winning low limit SNG player who played for fun and never planned on having to cash in or out, except by transfers through me. If party didn't stop all inter-account transfers between Americans even before the new legislation took effect, this wouldn't have been a problem at all.
