Default Better than working at McDonald\'s (graph included)..need a coach?

Anyone need a coach? Sure, most of you play at 10x the stakes, but...I can teach you to beat NL25.

To be honest, I'm not sure I can get the $/hr playing at any other stakes (I 8-table).

eh, i dunno how much this is per hour, but even if it's like $10, it's not better than working at mcdonalds.

I seriously can't believe that anyone thinks that this could be worse than a mcdonalds job.

Seriously.

I see those responses to people all the time. They say grinding it out at NL25 would be a nightmare, they'd rather work at McDonald's.

Personally, I like working at my own schedule. Eating and drinking while working. taking breaks whenever I want. Getting pay raises the better job I do. Waking up late. Taking whatever days off I want. Not answering to anyone.

Not to mention my financial needs are miniscule, so I don't feel much pressure month to month. But, given that I'm a high-volume player, I get through downswings pretty quick.

I'm sorry to all those that think the life of a NL25 grinder is so horrible, but after this test period, I'm perfectly happy with MY job.

note: I have supported myself with poker for nearly a year and a half now, but almost entirely from SNGs the last year. Just wanted to try out some cash play along with my SNGs this month...might try a month of only cash next month.

OP,

seriously though, i don't understand why you don't want to move up. i find it very hard to believe you are maximizing your hourly at NL25.
