Default 2-7 Extracting value

I'm fairly new to 2-7 but trying to cash in on the new stars craze.

This is mainly a "how bad/good did i play this hand and where could i improve" type post. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Do feel free to shout at me if i played anything horribly wrong.

Hero ($30.70), Seat 4
BB ($14.90), Seat 5
UTG ($26.80), Seat 6
MP ($8.95), Seat 1
CO ($11.35), Seat 2
Button ($98.10), Seat 3

Button at Seat 3.
Hero posts $0.25. BB posts $0.50.

Hero discards Js. BB takes 1. Button takes 2.

Hand: [2c 3h 7h 5c 5s]

Round 2: (12.00 SB)

<font color="green">Hero checks. </font><font color="red">BB bets. </font><font color="green">Button calls. </font><font color="green">Hero calls. </font>
Hero discards 5s. BB takes 1. Button takes 1.

Hand: [2c 3h 7h 5c 4c]

Round 3: (7.50 BB)

<font color="green">Hero checks. </font><font color="green">BB checks. </font><font color="red">Button bets. </font><font color="red">Hero raises. </font><font color="green">BB calls. </font><font color="green">Button calls. </font>
Hero stands pat. BB takes 1. Button takes 2.

Hand: [2c 3h 7h 5c 4c]

Round 4: (13.50 BB)

<font color="red">Hero bets. </font><font color="green">BB calls. </font><font color="#666666">Button folds. </font>

Total pot: (15.50 BB - $15.50)

Many thanks.

This is the triple draw equivalent to asking how do I play AKs. There are two lines, donking out would probably best the best line because your opponents "should" check the hand through if they don't improve vs two other 1 card draws. Your line is even better if you are 90% positive the button or BB will bet if checked to.

I would've capped pre-draw.

I would probably have bet out in round 3. It looks like Button caught some sort of rough pat hand, then decided to break it after you check-raise, but very often you'll see this round go check-check-check, which would be a disaster in getting value.

Round 2 and 4 are standard.

There are 12 small bets in the pot after the first draw, the BB capped.

Nice hand, you could donk out when you make the nuts, getting it checked through there would suck. Knowing your opponents is important there. Many times the BB will incorrectly bet an unimproved hand there.

yeah, I'm amazed you got in the third round checkraise.

to all: is there enough value on the first draw (with a guy caught in the middle) to pump once for value? we've already pitched a 5 and we could have up to 8 outs twice to big hands with implied odds attached.

meh, maybe still too aggro.

Out of position firing a raise is spewing, now in position it has some value, but not too much because of the size of the field and the number of discounted baby cards which are in our opponent's hands.

this is interesting. do you think an in-position raise will buy us a free draw? how much equity do you give us when oop in this scenario?

In the long run, even in times when the third-round checkraise will work, you'll do a lot better with bet-threebet.
