UB Blackjack Bug?
So I was playing single player blackjack with my last chips at UB the other night, when I was dealt a two card ten. I wanted to double so I went to the cashier to reload. The deposit went through but before I could click back to the blackjack window the UB software completely shuts down. When the software crashed, the hand was still in progress and it was my turn to act. I immediately relaunch the app and log back in, but the hand does not come back up and my bet is gone.
I did some follow up testing of the single player blackjack game at UB. Seems if you leave a blackjack hand in progress when it is your turn to act, the hand is apparently played out as if you stood. Is this a bug or is there some sort of all in rule? How do other sites usually handle disconnects for single player table games? I found nothing about being disconnected during a blackjack hand on their site. I sent an email to support asking to either finish the hand or get a refund of my bet. That was Thursday. Today, I finally got an email back asking for the hand number. Since UB doesn't store this on my hard drive and I don't write down every hand number as I play blackjack, I have a feeling this is going nowhere. It seems unfair that the software would act for me or treat me as all in. Do I have a legit gripe or should I just give it up and kiss my bet goodbye? |

Re: UB Blackjack Bug?
Normally casino software pauses if you are booted from a sngle player session. I'm sure it is easy for them to find the last hand you played.
