Default Bonds staying with the Giants.

1 year for 16 million

Bonds hasn't signed the contract yet, but apparently has agreed.

Over/Under on how many games he plays?

85?

That seems like a good deal given the other contracts we've seen doled out this off season. Too bad the Pads didn't sign him.

Bonds is a tremendous value. Basically all of these old awesome players that you can sign for one year are tremendous values though. Fourth and fifth years on contracts are rather big gambles.

This is why some of the other deals look so bad. 100 games of bonds and 62 games of replacement level for 16.5 M is still easily twice as good as 162 games of Pierre or Soriano.

Clearly the cards are trying to run the table on suspected steroid users breaking hallowed records.
