Default AJ in the SB, middle of a MTT - Vote!

Full Tilt Poker 12k Guarantee ($24+2)
Blinds: 150/300 with a 75 ante
Your Stack: ~4500, under average at this point
~750 entered, about ~150 left, 72 get paid
Pre-Flop: MP, with about 7k, raises to 900
Button, with about 3k, calls
In the SB, you have A-J offsuit
Pot Size: 2,975

What play do you think is best?
I think they all could possibly be argued as reasonable, but I want to see if there is an overall favorite.

This could either be shove or fold, depending on reads. How tight is the opener? Is the button caller tricky, or just a donk (he just called 30% of his stack pf, is he doing it to trap with AA, or because he's an idiot and wants to see a flop with 77?).

Meh, I don't really think you have a lot of FE against the button caller, but you may well be flipping coins with him anyway, and you have an overlay...bombs away.

Reads on the opponents are sadly minimal. I had just gotten moved. However, I think its safe to say button is more of a '7-7' kind of guy, simply based on the low buy-in and typical quality of play in these tournaments.

Also, our stack is perfect for a sng, although doing it against 2 people isn't usually a good idea. I'd probably just push, although I agree that reads are a huge help here...I folded AQ in a similar spot last night.

I'm thinking that maybe "lol predicaments" was pretty good and I should have saved it for a more interesting thread.

Btw, I think this is a fold, but reads could easily slide it to a shove. Calling is almost never right, though.
