Default Murder or deportation?

Problem: You have to kill a stranger who have done nothing wrong in his or hers life.

If you refuse, you will be deported to a remote uninhabited island for 20 years with no chance of escape.

If you decide to commit the murder, there will be zero chance of you getting caught.

This happened to me once, I chose deportation. It wasn't that bad. Got a nice tan, swam a lot and relaxed. I became pretty good friends with the guy I would have had to murder when I got back to the states. We still get together for a couple beers once a month. He buys obviously.

I do believe the vote tally isn't reflective of peoples true position though, because if this wasn't some silly hypothetical I doubt a majority of you would still stand on your moral high ground and leave your families for the next 20 years, especially with the fact of getting arrested erased.
