Official Week 14 FF Thread (I hate Thursday games)

The QB controversy never ends for me.

Romo plays well but isn't consistent with his TDs, especially with Marion Barber doing so well in the red zone. However Dallas vs NO may turn into a shoot out which would lead to a high scoring game.

Palmer had a solid game (regular and FF-wise) versus the Ravens. He's up against a solid pass defense vs Oakland but the Bengals have no sense of clock management. Even in the Cleveland shutout they were just throwing the ball all day long.

Garcia is flavor of the week with pass happy Andy Reid. A good game vs Panthers tonight and an easy matchup next week @ Washington. However poor Washington defense is, I think Reid gets a few TDs on the scoreboard and will then run the clock down.

I'm going to have to go with Palmer this week even though he has the toughest matchup out of the 3 QBs. He just puts up solid numbers week in and week out.

I like the McGahee matchup as well. But Philly has shown it's inability to stop the run lately. Betts is off 2 100+ yard games. McGahee had 26 yards last week, albeit against the SD D with Merriman back.

I voted Garcia as a 100% homer vote. I think Palmer is pretty clearly the right play, even though the Oakland defense is waaaaaaay better than Washington's.

I have to win this game in order to make the playoffs, and i'm facing the #1 team in the league ... who I trade LT to (for djack, sjackson, and jamal lewis). Anyways, I have some roster questions ...

EDIT: I should add, the team I'm playing has Holt.

Anyway, definitely Garcia. Chicago is by far the best pass defense in the league, and Washington is one of the worst.

I voted Cincy, but it's probably close. Cleveland is better than people give them credit for, but Pittsburgh's defense is much, much better.

Wait a few days for the flex spot. Westy hurt his toe, but unless he is completely out stay away from Buckhlater. I guess Derrick Mason, but I didn't even vote on that one.

i'm pretty sure you were one of the people saying to accept the trade =P ... it happened about 4 weeks ago, and its actually been fairly equal (in terms of points scored), and should pay off more in the next few weeks (if marty should choose to rest LT a bit more (after he breaks the TD record of course))

My league has a very exciting last regular season week before the week 15/16 playoffs. The team in first place is 9th (out of 12) in points. The final playoff spot has four teams with a shot, and the last consolation spot is up for grabs between the 8 and 9 teams.

I'm in the fortunate position of having the fourth playoff spot, needing to win and if the 5th place team wins, having a 16 point total point lead over him. Unfortunately I'm playing the third place team who has been solid all year. Here are my dilemma's:
