Default Busted River Draw- Early PS 2nd Chance

Read on villain is from one hand prior when he limped K6os on the button and then called my aggressive bets to the river with bottom pair against my bottom 2-pair.

What's the best line through the hand and what is the best river play?

If you're this bad at postflop play, fold pf.

As played, check-raise flop to 800 or so or fold. Turn, fold. River, don't bluff. This guy is a CALLING STATION. Why would you want to bluff a station? You VALUE BET a station, you don't bluff him.

LOL. I agree that you don't bluff a calling station. But, there is a little more to this hand than the obvious, why else would I post it?

My cards are almost irrelevant. What I think is much more important is the way the villain is betting and the texture of the flop and then the turn and river.

The very reason I am calling here preflop and through the hand is because I am confident that I can take it away from him when if the board and his actions read right.

IMO, raising the flop would be bad becasue the villain is going to call any raise. His call of my raise would greatly distort the pot size and force a monster turn lead that he is likely to call. Leaving me hoping that the river saves me.

Not what I want nor intended as played. YOu can't bluff a player of this type like that. You have to do it shallowly and almost always on the river.

Raise 600 to look like a value bet. Obviously if he raises you're done. To be honest I think i prob would check fold here

If you call preflop then lay it down here, why not just fold pf?

I would fold pf...why on earth would I wanna play T8o oop?

Umm I agree with everyone else, raise on the flop, or fold the turn.

fold preflop

As played PF - c/c flop; lead turn.

As played with your read you probably have to c/f river.

Mornelth:

I am calling preflop, because of the prior actions. When he last limped the button with Kxos, I could almost hear his gears grinding after my x6os 2-prd to beat him.

In this hand, I did not respect his raise in any way and felt that this would be a good opportunity to play the player rather than my cards. I think I made a mistake with the way I titled this post. I should have title it "how best to steal from a weak player" or something like that.

As it stands, I can see that the responses think that it should be titled, "Call like a donkey and hope to suck out".

FWIW, that river is a great card for me.

I like mornelth's line. As for the river, you've described him as the last person on Earth you would want to bluff against, I don't wee why you're considering bluffing.
