Re: POLL: Everyone RESPOND OR ELSE TEX WILL 10K FIGHT YOU, YO.
I'm assuming FR LO8...
-Limp you're OOP with a hand that just loves customers, don't scare them away. -If you believe you'll get 3 or more to the flop raise it up (sounds like you would in a LP game). -A Call would be standard I believe (but knowledge of your OPP's raising range & post flop play could easily sway this to a Raise & extremely less likely a Fold) Hmm, 2nd LO8 post I've made in as many days & I have played very little of it. Maybe I should start, whats the LO8 equivelent of 1/2 PL/NL? |

Re: POLL: Everyone RESPOND OR ELSE TEX WILL 10K FIGHT YOU, YO.
1. LRR sometimes, usually just limp and call a raise.
2. Raise always. I raise lots from late position, so this is an easy decision. 3. Fold > call > raise. Raise isn't even a real option to me. Calling is okay I suppose if I played well postflop, which I don't in this game. Folding is my choice because it's probably the most profitable way for me to play this hand after this action against tough opponents. |

Re: POLL: Everyone RESPOND OR ELSE TEX WILL 10K FIGHT YOU, YO.
1. Raising is a common mistake. It's pleasant playing against players who raise from EP with hands that need multiway pots - 3 bet for isolation/position and they turn into ATMs. Limp, reraise if you can trap at least 4 more guys in the hand.
2. A23x is definitely enough to assume you have an equity edge against 3 other presumably loose limpers. A raise for value is in order. Calling is not terrible as it gives certain postflop advantages. 3. KQJTds is trash against a presumably good TAG's EP range. Definite muck. On top of the fact that KQJTds is only a one-way hand, it's also somewhat of a reverse implied odds hand since neither of your flushes are nut. |

Re: POLL: Everyone RESPOND OR ELSE TEX WILL 10K FIGHT YOU, YO.
1) Limp with the A25Q, even in limit - but only because the game is loose. In a tight game (one where some A2xx hands might actually muck) I'd raise.
2) A234, easy raise with this many others in the pot. 3) Call I guess. This is a tricky one because I'm not sure whether we want the blinds to fold or not (if we're sure we do we can 3-bet). I can't see folding; the hand seems pretty easy to play aside from the relatively rare situation where one of your flushes comes but EP has the nut flush. |

That said I think in a loose game this hand still plays more profitably in a multiway setting. If I ever raised in EP then I would do it with this kind of hand sometimes. |
