Default Double Shoot-Out

Six players remaining on leg #1.
Blinds $75/150

Villian is pretty loose, rest are trying to to play a conserative style approach from what I can tell. I have T1,540
and villian has T2,200, villian raises from the CO to $450...I ponder and move all in...

villain shows K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I was 90% positve the blinds will fold, their stacks were T2,200 and T1,850 but are easily the most "pushable" at the table.

Anyone hate the all-in?

Kind of off-topic, but since when is KQ suited beating A-10o a bad beat? Is QQ losing to AK a bad beat?

I really like the push in this situation. The CO's range is quite large being first to open the pot, and I think you ahead when he calls about 40-50% of the time. So put that plus a little fold equity and it's a +cEV move.

You're +cEV here, blinds are getting up there (M < 7), short handed table (effective M ~5) - pushing is fine.

There is no hand villain folds here. If you have the best hand then good push.

I am going to have to disagree with this logic. At this point in a SNG, my main goal of a push is to maintain some folding equity (with a hand of this strength especially) and here, that just isn't present.

Further, the stacks here do not seem so uneven to warrant a showdown given this payout structure. Just my $0.02...

raise from CO, push over top with an M of less than 7, seems standard.
