Default Wii Virtual Console games

It looks like the selection is pretty slim right now, but I hope it picks up soon.

I think Soloman's Key is a great game for the NES. For the SNES, both SimCity and F-Zero are fun, but if I want to play them, I can do so on my SNES.

Obv Mario 64 is a great game, and since I don't own it, I will buy it as soon as I have a compatible controler.

Anyone bought and VC games yet?

I've downloaded Mario64 and the original NES Zelda. Both work really well with the classic controller and I'm surprised how quickly you can download them. It took about 3 minutes from start to finish to get Mario, and probably less than a minute for Zelda.

I realllly hope they get the whole canon up soon.

It will be really good when they start putting out games like Dragon Warrior II-IV, Earthbound, and other somewhat rare RPG's like that.

Too bad they won't be able to get Ducktales 2 on there.

Wow, I loved that game when I was a kid. I noticed it's impossible to find even on emulators.

River City Ransom and Maniac Mansion are awesome...as is Earthbound obv. I never managed to beat RCR IIRC, and I only beat a couple of the Maniac Mansion scenarios.

Also Crystalis would be sweet.

Really? I checked eBay just now and one recently had a starting price of $20 but didn't sell at all, so at least you can still buy it cheaply.
