That's odd, why would they switch to a network that is itself switching software?
PokerHost is SBG Global, which AFAIK is still US-facing. Did they join Tribeca Tables Europe Ltd (which is moving to Playtech's iPoker platform), or the Doyle Brunson Poker Network (whose move has yet to be announced), or are they an independent Tribeca skin that will need to move again (like BetUS Poker). If the latter two, perhaps this is an indication that Playtech will divest itself of Tribeca's poker software and/or US-facing network to its former licensees (Doyle's, Golden Palace, BetUS Poker, etc), who have until now been given 6 months to find a new home.

They're owned by BetCris actually. I do see SBG Global has links to PokerHost. I'm not an expert on sportsbooks but I don't believe the two are connected. E.g. SBR rates BetCris an A+ and SBG a D-.
So PokerHost is owned by a reputable company. They switched to Tribeca just before Tribeca announced they'd cease to do US business, and before Tribeca got bought out. Unfortunate timing for PokerHost. There's only one Tribeca network. DBPN is just a company that runs rooms on that network.

Tribeca licensees fall in one of three categories: a) those whose license contracts where included in the sale of Tribeca Tables Europe Ltd to PlayTech and will be migrated to the iPoker Network -- Blue Square Poker, PaddyPowerPoker, UK-Poker.net, Victor Chandler, etc. b) those that are independent Tribeca skins that were not included in the sale -- Golden Palace Poker, BetUS Poker, Doyle's Room, etc. -- that have been given 6 months to find a new home. c) those that were members of the Doyle Brunson Poker Network; the 25 sites listed here: http://www.dbpn.com/ A fourth category I didn't mention are all the Tain Network members, such as Expekt.com; as they wouldn't likely ever end up on Tribeca before the transition to iPoker. So you claim that PokerHost joined Tribeca and inked the deal before the sale, so I presume they are in group (b) unless they decide to stay with PlayTech. I realize that all sites are (at the moment) on the same network and platform, but some sites have their contract with DBPN instead; DBPN is going to split from Tribeca, and may even purchase the Tribeca poker platform. BetUS is rumored that it will join DBPN or go wherever Doyle does, and no idea about Golden Palace. BTW, I wouldn't pay much credence to SBR ratings, SBR is a micky-mouse operation; and is on the verge of self destruction. They have always rated advertisers well and books that choose not to appease SBR unfairly.

No problem, sorry if I was harsh. Look at my country, I happen to know a bit about the local gaming industry.
They moved off Dobro and now Dobro is going to be much bigger (with Full Contact and Future Bet skins). Talk about bad timing. I'm interested to know what Doyle, Golden Palance, BetUS and now Pokerhost are going to do. Would have been great timing to have a poker product ready. This event probably saved Dobrosoft from obscurity, and Cake Poker definitely got a piece of the cake.
