I don't like that flop call, especially OOP. It's tougher to make money when you hit OOP. Also, you have a 2 way draw, but both are to potentially second best hands.

Also, would it not make more sense to CR the turn (if you plan on putting it allin anyway), especially if you expect a bet. That way you are more likely to get some action from the hands that you beat, not just the ones that beat you.

The way you played the hand, seems like you don't think much of this Joe Beevers character's raises.

beevers was playing well in this session.

i'd reccomended a c/c to try and trap a poor player in the middle.

This is my personal opinion based on play at slightly lower stakes:

Your flop call is just asking for you to be sent into a very bad spot, especially with two players (including a player who lead pot from EP) still to act. Also, that "J" on the flop is seriously weakening your hand (it's not like 89Tx is an unlikely holding).

If you think Joe is pushing with a set, you want to raise behind him to push out other draws (which may crush you) beacuse this hand on this board works best heads up and worst multi-way.

As it is, you're just helping price in better straight and flush draws (although, it is unlikely that someone has both it's reasonably likely that both are out there). Also, if Joe has something like a set, his side cards probably block/counterfeit your outs. Finally, the only truly good turn cards for you are the (3h, 3c, 3s, Ad). Anything else leaves you in a difficult spot for your entire stack.

To me this is a push or fold scenario on the flop. If you think you can get it heads up and/or have fold equity, raise it. Otherwise, muck it.

i honestly like a 3bet on the flop if im going to check..which i rarely will here, id like to get raised so i can put them all in on the flop...when you 3 bet after leading on flop he may fold his hand.....you played it fine but the rest of the hand is completely standard...am i missing something

Looks pretty standardido. In general though I show Joe Beevers a lot of respect because he is generally very solid.

I much prefer lead or 3 bet when it comes back to you.

You have a moster 22 outs but of them only 5 are to the nuts. In this situation where you undoubtably have good equity but are in poor position and have a lot of dirty outs so suffer from poor implied odds I'd prefer to get as much of my stack in as possible, re-potting gets almost half your stack in so you can do this safely then push any turn.
