I recently quit poker as a mission to get rich after my worst downswing ever, about 50K. I still play like once a month, and I'll probably go to the WSOP next year, so it's not exactly quitting, but still a big change.
But it bugs the [censored] out of me, I'm more addicted to 2+2 than ever, and I can't stop thinking about money. Even though I was not at all set for life before the downswing, and I'm not at all busto now, I feel busto and I feel like my pre-downswing roll was SO robusto. If someone gave me 40K, I think I'd be able to move on happily and pokerthoughts would never bother me. How much would it take for you to forget about poker and move on with your life? I'm hoping to see some really busto responses, like 1K for example. OK. |

this question will get few small responses, newer players will say high numbers because they have never experience huge downswings, and good players will usually say a high number becuase they have most likely experience having a hugely winning day/week/tournament so a medium amount wouldnt suffice
